Our Birthday Boy

My son has officially turned into a "big boy". I figured that I could baby him until he turned 5, so now I guess I have to stop. Jacob turned five on Friday, and we celebrated with his good friends at Pizza Hut. He had a "Wall-E" cake - which beat out a Cheetah Girls cake (thank goodness)!

What a cute five year old, huh! Is there anyone cuter than him? NO!

Jacob was quite the ladies man at his party...Jentry was really getting a kick out of whatever it is he was saying. Here are a few pictures from his party...eating pizza, eating cake, and opening presents.

All in all, it was a great party, and he has enjoyed being five for a whole day. Lynzee and Allyson didn't get to come because of Lynzee's volleyball game, so he went to spend the night at there house last night (as a special treat). I am about to go pick him up. I can't believe he is five; I am feeling pretty old right now.
For an update, I didn't suffer a panic attack last weekend - it was not good, but no full blown attack! School update...I have only had one bad day (more my fault), and I have only had one kid cry so far. So, I would say it has been a success so far!

I'm checking blogs while I make the world's worst pancakes this morning. Out of baking powder, but I already had the batter going. My poor children. Looks like y'all had a great party over the weekend--five is just a milestone. And I'm glad school is going well--I had a continual neck ache the first year from stress. I think every year gets a little easier. Y'all take care!

I can't believe how old Mark is getting to be.

I'm glad the panic attack can be called the attack that never happened.

Only one kid crying? How much fun can that be?
